Philpost Area 6 To Accept Payments of Philhealth Premiums WITH NO SERVICE CHARGE Beginning April 2012
As an accredited collecting agent of Philhealth, Philpost offers Philhealth members the convenience of paying their premiums through post offices in Western Visayas WITH NO SERVICE CHARGE.
Effective April 2012, Individual Paying Members (regular and professionals), Employed Members (private and government), Overseas Contract Workers (OFWs), and Sponsored Program/Indigent members, may have their premium contributions serviced by Philpost.
Members need only to visit the nearest post office and present the properly filled-out the PPPS (PhilHealth Premium Payment Slip - which is available at the post office and which may also be downloaded here) together with their payment.
Payment in the form of check must be payable to PHILPOST with notation at the back of check “for payment of PHILHEALTH premium contribution under PHILHEALTH Agents Receipt (PAR) N0. _____ dated ________". The member shall receive validated PAR (white and yellow copies) as proof of payment from the Postmaster/Postal Teller.

Philpost Mail Car Courses Through An Earthquake-Damaged Road in Negros Oriental
Captured in this photo is a Philpost mail car trying its best to pass through the earthquake-damaged road in Guihulngan, Negros Oriental.
The 6.9 earthquake, one of the strongest quakes to hit the Visayas, killed tens of people, damaged roads and buildings, but Philpost employees in this mail car remained relentless in their commitment to bring the mails to their intended destination.

In view of the forthcoming rationalization of Philippine Postal Corporation and for a more efficient management of operations, regional offices have been integrated into 9 operational areas, each headed by a Postal Area Director.
What used to be known as Philpost Region 6 is now Philpost Area 6. Included in its jurisdiction are the Provinces of Iloilo, Capiz, Aklan, Antique, Negros Occidental , the Sub-Province of Guimaras, Negros Oriental, and Siquijor.
Philpost Area 6 has its official seat at Zamora Street, Iloilo City. It is headed by a lady Postal Area Director, Fabiolita P. Ferraris, CESO III, who is known for her strings of accomplishments, as well as her leadership and management skills.
