Domestic Electronic Postal Money Order Now Available in 25 Post Offices in Area 6

Clients desiring faster, more secure, and more efficient means of sending cash around the country may now do so via PHLPOst’s Domestic Electronic Postal Money Order System, a web-based application that simplifies and facilitates the process of sending and receiving cash. Currently, there are 176 Postal Outlets all over the Philippines where clients can make ePMO transactions. Philpost Area 6 To Accept Payments of Philhealth Premiums WITH NO SERVICE CHARGE Beginning April 2012




As an accredited collecting agent of Philhealth, Philpost offers Philhealth members the convenience of paying their premiums through post offices in Western Visayas WITH NO SERVICE CHARGE.

Effective April 2012, Individual Paying Members (regular and professionals), Employed Members (private and government), Overseas Contract Workers (OFWs), and Sponsored Program/Indigent members, may have their premium contributions serviced by Philpost.

Members need only to visit the nearest post office and present the properly filled-out the PPPS (PhilHealth Premium Payment Slip - which is available at the post office and which may also be downloaded here) together with their payment.

Payment in the form of check must be payable to PHILPOST with notation at the back of check “for payment of PHILHEALTH premium contribution under PHILHEALTH Agents Receipt (PAR) N0. _____ dated ________". The member shall receive validated PAR (white and yellow copies) as proof of payment from the Postmaster/Postal Teller.

APMG Carlos in Aklan





The APMG for Administration, Luis D. Carlos was in Region 6 on July 7-9, specifically to have a personal assessment of the damage brought by Typhoon Frank to postal facilities in Aklan and some parts of Iloilo, particularly San Enrique, Jaro, Pavia, and Sta. Barbara.

APMG Carlos gave instructions to the Resident Engineer, Rolly M. Mamon, for the immediate repairs of certain buildings, facilities, and equipment. The energetic APMG also emphasized the need for an effective IT system in the post office.
