The LGU-operated Postal Station is now open for business in Valderrama, Antique, and no less than PHLPost Area 6 Director Fabiolita P. Ferraris and Valderrama Mayor Mary Joyce M. Roquero, together with PHLPost Marketing Specialist Tess Planco, Quality Control Officer Noel Somes, and Bugasong Postmaster Henry Sevigan, graced the ceremony on June 3, 2015. Although delivery services are maintained in Valderrama, window transactions are being entertained in Bugasong Post Office, which is around 18 km from Valderrama. With the opening of the Postal Station in Valderrama, the 18,000 + residents can now enjoy the convenience of posting their mails right in their own hometown. Director Ferraris expressed her gratitude to the good mayor for franchising the postal business in the interest of the service.
