2012: AN AMAZING YEAR FOR PHLPOST AREA 6

The year 2012 proved to be an amazing year for PHLPost Western Visayas, with the integration of Negros Oriental and Siquijor, and the return of veteran Director Fabiolita P. Ferraris, CESO III as Area Director. Amidst threats of modern communications technology and financial services offered by private couriers, PHLPost Western Visayas rallied to rise above the challenges, exceeding its target by 20.37% and its income of last year by 30%. Director Ferraris attributes this tremendous performance to strong leadership skills, massive marketing of premium products and services, and taking a proactive stand on opportunities as they come. Also in 2012, PHLPost embarked on financial servicing by accepting PhilHealth remittances over the counter and by delivering cash grants to the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries in Region 6 and Negros Oriental. The volume of transactions of these two projects alone is expected to increase in 2013 and beyond. The lady director thanks the members of PHLPost Area 6 family who have been with her from day one in pursuing the objectives into accomplishment, and of course, to the first lady Postmaster General, Ms. Ma. Josefina M. Dela Cruz, and her staff for their never ending support to the area.
